I really love the insight you provided, and the great perspectives you’ve shared. I however see happiness differently.
To sum it up without going into great details, the phrase “happy for no reason” is what embodies the true meaning of happiness. As long as happiness is attached to something, someone, or a doing, no matter what questions we ask, no matter what values is tied to, when the object of the attachment get taken away so does the so called happiness.
I believe we’ve become a society that promotes not being happy so that we consume all things that will “provide the happiness”.
Detachment therefore might be a great segue way to happiness. But the question won’t be about happiness, it will be about detachment.
